Our Volunteer Car Service scheme is available for local people who have difficulty using public transport or who have no access to public transport. Volunteer drivers use their own cars to provide this service.
All our volunteer car drivers have been DBS checked, they provide a reliable friendly courteous service. Again we appreciate how much familiarity means to our clients so we again try and be consistent with using the same drivers each time or at least using only 1 or 2 different drivers.
Journeys include:-
- Long Distance Medical journeys to Taunton, Exeter Bristol and Bournemouth
- Local Medical journeys to Doctors, Hospitals, Opticians, Dentist and Chiropodist.
- Hair Appointments
We also undertake contractual journeys for clients such as Somerset Sight, where we provide journeys for clients to attend both consultations and workshops.
