Volunteer

Community Transport meets the needs of individuals unable to access conventional transport. Currently our cost effective transport is enjoyed by over 95 organisations, large and small, ranging from children’s and youth services, social/statutory services, elderly care and many self-organised groups and clubs. We also operate a door to door minbuses  serving rural areas of South Somerset which meets the needs of individuals who want to go shopping or attend medical appointments by using accessible vehicles and volunteer car drivers.

We are always looking for volunteer car drivers to take individuals to medical appointments and other social well being journeys. Drivers must own their own car. We reimburse expenses.

Volunteering is a chance to help people in your community to become more mobile. We are looking for drivers in Yeovil, Chard, Ilminster, Langport and surrounding villages.
